Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia are the Rotterdam P2 men's champions, beating Franco Stupaczuk and Jon Sanz 6–3, 6–2 in Sunday's final at the Ahoy Rotterdam arena.

The world No. 1 pair needed just 69 minutes to make it three consecutive Rotterdam P2 titles — a ruthless display after a week that hadn't always looked easy.

A ruthless 69 minutes on Sunday

The final was one-way traffic. Top seeds Coello and Tapia broke early, never let the fifth-seeded pair settle, and closed out both sets 6–3, 6–2. Stupaczuk and Sanz, fresh off their upset of Galán and Chingotto, simply had no answer — folded under the pressure of a final that became all about the No. 1s.

Tapia said afterwards the pair had started the week slowly and improved match by match, finishing the final at a very, very high level. Coello added that they found the solution fast and played an incredible match — and were "so, so proud" of their level this week.

The quarterfinal scare nobody saw coming

The week's only wobble came in the quarterfinals, where Coello and Tapia had to come back from a set down against unseeded Argentines Valentino Libaak and Gonzalo Alfonso — 4–6, 6–3, 6–3.

Meanwhile, the other half of the draw was already in chaos: Stupaczuk and Sanz knocked out Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto 6–4, 6–4, and sixth seeds Miguel Yanguas and Jorge Nieto took out third seeds Juan Lebrón and Leandro Augsburger.

A second three-set test in the semifinal

Saturday brought another scare. Coello and Tapia dropped the middle set to Momo González and Lucas Campagnolo before steadying for a 6–1, 3–6, 6–1 win.

Stupaczuk and Sanz had the cleaner route through, seeing off Yanguas and Nieto to set up the final. It was the pair's first Premier Padel final together — and the step up in class proved too much.

The end of Stupaczuk's 10-season streak bid

The final also ended a quiet subplot: Stupaczuk was bidding to become one of the few players to win a title in ten consecutive seasons. That bid dies at Rotterdam — but reaching a final with a new partner, after beating the No. 2 seeds along the way, is still a statement of its own.
